About Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12 - Bhakti Yoga
Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12 - Bhakti Yoga के बारे में
Bhakti Yoga is the sweetest chapter. Arjuna asks: who is more perfect—those who worship the personal form of God or those who worship the impersonal Absolute?
Krishna answers that worshipping the Personal God constitutes the highest yoga. The path of the Impersonal is difficult and painful for embodied beings.
He then outlines different levels of practice: if one cannot fix the mind firmly on God, practice the principles of yoga; if unable to do that, work for Him; if even that is hard, renounce the fruits of action. The chapter ends with a beautiful description of the ideal devotee—one who is non-envious, kind, equal in happiness and distress, and forgiving.
