About Bhagavad Gita Chapter 3 - Karma Yoga
Bhagavad Gita Chapter 3 - Karma Yoga के बारे में
Karma Yoga addresses Arjuna's confusion: if knowledge is superior to action, why fight this terrible war? Krishna explains that no one can remain inactive even for a moment, as nature's forces drive us to act.
The path to freedom is not renouncing action, but renouncing the attachment to the results of action. Krishna introduces the concept of Yajna (sacrifice) in a broader sense—performing one's duties as an offering to the Divine and for the welfare of the world (Lokasamgraha).
By acting without selfish desire, one breaks the chain of Karma and attains purity of mind. Krishna cites the example of King Janaka, who attained perfection through active duty.
Action as Worship
कर्म ही पूजा
In Vedic times, Yajna meant fire rituals. Krishna revolutionized this concept, expanding it to mean ANY selfless action performed for the greater good. He democratized spirituality, showing that a householder engaged in worldly duties can attain the same perfection as a forest-dwelling ascetic.
