O son of Kunti, either you will be killed on the battlefield and attain the heavenly planets, or you will conquer and enjoy the earthly kingdom. Therefore, get up with determination and fight.

युद्ध में मारा गया तो स्वर्ग पाएगा, जीत गया तो पृथ्वी का राज्य भोगेगा। अतः हे कुंतीपुत्र! तू निश्चय करके युद्ध के लिए खड़ा हो जा।
Deep Reflection
गहन चिंतन
The Ultimate Win-Win.
Krishna plays the Game Theorist. He analyzes the outcomes matrix and proves that Fighting is the "Dominant Strategy."
Hato va = If killed → You get Heaven (Eternal Glory). Jitva va = If victorious → You get the Kingdom (Earthly Glory).
There is no scenario where you lose... UNLESS you don't play.
The Martyr's Reward (Heaven)
In the Vedic code, dying for a noble cause is not "Game Over." It is "Level Up." The warrior bypasses the normal Karmic waiting list and gets VIP entry to Svarga.
So, the worst case scenario (Death) is actually a Best Case Scenario (Liberation). Fear of death is illogical when death brings promotion.
The Victor's Reward (Earth)
If you survive, you get to fix the world. "Bhokshyase Mahim" = Enjoy the earth.
This isn't just about greed. It's about Stewardship. You get to implement Dharma. You get to rule justly. You get to finish the job.
Uttishtha (Arise!)
This is one of the most famous one-word commands in the Gita. UTTISHTHA!
Get up. Stop analyzing. Stop crying. Stop sitting.
Action is the antidote to despair. The moment you stand up physically, your mind starts to clear.
Krita-Nischayah (Total Resolve)
"Determined." Not "I'll try." Not "I'll see what happens."
resolve means the decision is made. The bridge is burned. When you enter a battle (or a project) with "Krita-Nischaya," you are terrifying. The universe gets out of the way of a determined soul.
Escaping the Double Bind
Arjuna felt trapped. "If I kill, I sin. If I don't kill, I fail." Krishna breaks the trap. "If you fight, you win (either way). If you don't fight, you lose (both ways)."
He flips the script from Lose-Lose to Win-Win.
What This Means for You
व्यावहारिक ज्ञान
Gamify your risk. Look at the downside. If the "worst case" is learning/growth, and the "best case" is success, then DO IT.
Burn the boats. "Krita-Nischaya." Decide you are doing it. Period. The energy savings from not wavering are huge.
Get Up. When in doubt, stand up. Move your body. Physiology changes Psychology.
Live With It

The Golden Parachute.
You are standing on the edge of a massive decision. Start the company? Ask for the raise? Move to a new city?
You are paralyzed by the "What Ifs." "What if I fail? What if I look stupid? What if I lose money?"
Krishna hands you a cosmic insurance policy. It's the ultimate Win-Win Contract.
Clause A (The Worst Case): You give it your all. You fail. You lose the money. BUT... by facing your fear, you burn through lifetimes of Karma. You gain "Tejas" (Spiritual Fire). You enter the "Heaven" of a clear conscience. You sleep like a baby because you know you didn't leave anything on the table.
Clause B (The Best Case): You give it your all. You win. You get the money, the status, the Kingdom (Mahim). You get to change the world.
There is no "Lose" clause in Action. The only way to lose is to not play. To sit on the couch, rotting in safety, wondering "What might have been."
That safety is a slow death.
Uttishtha. Sign the deal. Jump.
A Question to Sit With
चिंतन के लिए प्रश्न
"What challenge are you avoiding where both outcomes would actually be fine?"
