About Bhagavad Gita Chapter 17 - Shraddhatraya Vibhaga Yoga
Bhagavad Gita Chapter 17 - Shraddhatraya Vibhaga Yoga के बारे में
Shraddhatraya Vibhaga Yoga answers Arjuna's question about those who worship with faith but without scriptural rules. Krishna explains that faith itself is of three kinds based on the Gunas.
He categorizes:
- Food: Juicy and wholesome (Sattva); Bitter and salty (Rajas); Stale and putrid (Tamas).
- Worship: To gods (Sattva); To demons/powerful beings (Rajas); To ghosts (Tamas).
- Austerity: Of body, speech, and mind.
- Charity: At right place/time (Sattva); For return expectation (Rajas); At wrong place/time (Tamas).
The chapter ends with the significance of "Om Tat Sat"—the three words used to purify and dedicate activities to the Supreme.

Watch Your Diet
Food affects your mind. Consuming fresh, juicy, wholesome (Sattvic) food keeps the mind clear and happy. Excessively spicy or old food leads to agitation and dullness.
Charity with Grace
When you help others, do it without expecting anything in return and without making them feel small. That is Sattvic charity. Giving to get fame is Rajasic.
